As Blue says, no one will look down on you cos its small, a bikes a bike and we all have different needs, likes and dislikes. If they do look down on you they are not worth worrying about - we all started on L plates - just some further back in the past than others.

I would just say that bikers do diss each others bikes all the time - it's something we do, just a bad habit! So don't worry about it too much!
