No, that's the trouble when you are starting out, insurance cost/excess etc all mount up. Still if you can survive a winter taking it steady, it will have been a tough learning curve but well sorth doing.

Sure will, I've not long had the FZ1 so am still learing to ride it whilst recovering from a couple of injuries that have had long term repercussions!

    Here's to 2007!

If we know who is coming we can always gear the group to the bikes & riders abilities. We did a couple of rides last years down to Poole specificaly aimed at riders who either didn't have a fast bike, hadn't been riding long or had never ridden in a group before. It was a lovely day, me and another senior rider rode top & tail so no one got mislaid.

We will certainly look to organise that type of ride again. We aslo ride out to places like Crescent Suzuki and Three Cross Motorcycles and similar big dealerships which are always interesting to browse around.

Could always just go to the lysley or red lion as they are extremely local to me if anyone is ever going

Yes, take it steady and try out both pubs. We have been a bit remiss keeping up the meets during the latter part of this year but look forward to getting back out to meets in the new year.
