    Hello and welcome to WB, as mentioned before try out and sit on as many bikes as you can even ones you dont think you would like might change your mind after trying it

    As we discussed, maybe look at Yamaha Fazer 600, Honda Hornet 600, Suzuki Bandit 600/650, etc. If you want a bike that's fun, a mile muncher, good for luggage, and comfortable for 'er indoors to go on the back, you can't go wrong with any of them.

    Hi again...
    I am v pleased with the Yam XJ6 I bought from GW's recently, which has a more upright riding position like the bikes mentioned above by Able Training.
    Half-faired and naked versions available and I think a fully faired version for 2010.

    At GW's a week ago they had knocked £600 off the price of naked XJ6's and were still offering Yamaha's 0% finance over 3 years.
    They may have kit deals still on aswell.
