Hi and welcome to WB :] 125s are epic win despite what people say especially the smokey kind! But being a student engines rebuilds may be a problem ;[ quite costly!

    hello and welcome

Can you ask Mark to let you have a go on the 500, you'll see the difference between that and the 125 is enormous
I did my DAS and have a 600, a bit like Tina (Beamber) I've had bike lowered as I'm a shortarse.
One thing my instructor said to me was it's you that twists the throttle, so tbh you could get on any bike and it's you that controls the speed of the thing, so far touch wood, I've never felt uncomfortable on my bike, my only wish is that it wasn't so heavy.
    It's Lilac... not pink!

Well, today, I bought a bike!
not like me to hang around so I did a bit of research and found an 11 month old Yammy YBR125 with THREE, yes, 3!!!! miles on the clock up for a bargain price so I grabbed it.
Getting the insurance sorted in the am as it's already sitting in my garage, good to go.

ps - the numberplate made me smile ... ;D

hello :-) why not do the DAS, then make up your mind, a 125 will keep the costs down, and to get your no claims in for a year.
the 125 will be good enough in most instances to keep up with the traffic, and they seem to keep the same value year after year...
do the DAS and then you can decide what you want to do...

    have fun :-)
