Welcome phil... if the ride out you're refering to is the Porlock run - then you don't need an invite - it is polite to say you will be coming in the relevant thread - but not necessary - other than that - just turn up at the advertised departure point before the advertised departure time. Helpful if you read the marker system sticky - if you are not already familliar with it...
And welcome to the small sub-group on here who think black is the best colour for a motorbike...
