regu rectifier

my reg recufier blew today

my bike gets no charge and i need one

now im questions is i have a k6 gsxr-750 ive found a k5 rec on the bay

now im 99% sure the k5 and k6 are the same bike

am i correct? also any advice on this subject is helpful

I think.....and this is a long long shot....that the K6 gixer has the horn wired into the rectifier but the k5 doesn't.

Definite weak spot those rectifiers on the k6 600's and 750's.

A mate of mine moved his. I'll see if I can get in touch with him.

the horn is attatched to the same bracket as the reg rec didnt pay attention to where the horn wiring went to

cheers got a 2nd hand on arrived today and is fitted

but bike is still in bits as she is getting all new goodies sat service wise anyway lol
