The worst things to get it on are the brake disks/pads and the tyres. I take wheels off and pads out of calipers when I do mine. Its very easy to overspray - you don't need much. If you put too much on anywhere near the brake discs then when you take the bike out for a spin the centrifugal force will spin it onto the brake disc and then pads. I buy a litre and pump spray and that does two bikes for 2 years. The spray cans will do one bike, once. If you buy the litre option then as Mitch say's it works much much (did I say much?) better when warmed in some hot water. Its a dirt magnet you just have to remember the dirt is on top of a protective layer.
Forgot to mention that it has a distinct odour and if used in confined spaces for any length of time you might get a headache.
