Personaly I would never send a seat no mater how good they are, if your going to lower the seat you need to be able to test the seat and if you can take it for a spin, but thats me.
I’ve spoken to and repaired a few seats that have been recovered, lowered and hundreds have been spent. You end up with something thats okay but not perfect and lets face it, if your arse aches from a **** seat you think twice about ‘just popping out for milk’
