I was in casualty having a steel particle removed from my eye :'(
one of the pitfalls of being a welder/ fabricator. :-[
you can be as careful as you can.. working in a welding shop with 6 other guys, grinding and welding, bits of steel fly around, you can't wear goggles all day long.. especially when you wear spectacles like I do, hazzard of the job I'm afraid.
I wouldn't do anything else, I love my job.. making things out of metal, I've been doing it for 31 years, still love it!!

Ouch, hope the eye is good Toph. You need to look after them, I've only got 1 1/2 myself!
