Are there any plane spotters out there?

Just thought I'd let you know that it's RAF Lynehan's Families Day on Thursday 14th Aug.
Not open to the gereral public I'm affraid! But if you possition yourself at the end of the runway outside the wire; you can watch the Air Dispay - which includs the Red Arrows...

Thanks for the reminder,may go along. Shame about all the 'soundwalls' ruining the views though. A good place to stand is to park up on the East approach (runway 24) and walk across the 'farm field' next to the Approach lights.You can get right up to the perimeter fence and get some excellent shots of the runway. Ofcourse with the recent rain the fields likely to be waterlogged and the locals can be agitated by your presence too!
