how to wear in new jacket

I was pleasantly surprised after treating myself to a set of BKS leathers last year (the proper ones, not the new FT-linked off-the-peg stuff) and they're the first leathers I've ever bought that needed no wearing in at all, the leather was thick and tough, but really supple - reflected in the price I suppose, but they are just sooo comfy 8-)
My Zak Leathers race suit is also comfy, after feeling like a suit of armour when I first got it, and I did wear that round the house for a number of evenings... :

how about a gentle application of a sandblaster,followed by some neets foot oil.

Walk into your local pub and pick a fight with the biggest chap in there. Do this a few times and it will soon look used and abused.

just wear it, wear it in the house, wear it in the car and wear it to the shops, you will have it worn in within a few days
