    Hey hey,

A friend of mine is celebrating a birthday and we are going to be in Bath at a lovely hotel for the weekend. Looking to do alot of dancing and drinking. Can anyone suggest any good cocktail bars or good clubs that they know of?

    Thanks ;D

Bluerooms, Revolutions, Mole's, Club X but this one is on thr fringes of town evidently

According to my lad the underlined one is the best But advise's having a good few drinks in wetherspoons first as it gets rather busy

Revolution is on George Street, which runs across the top of Milsom Street. It's the opposite end of town from the bus/train station

The above suggestions are fine if you're after sticky floors and getting groped by chavs with 'carpe diem' tattooed on their neck.

If you're after somewhere to have some great drinks, a catch up with some friends and to throw some shapes then these are the best Bath has to offer:

I recomend starting in Sub13 on George street. There's a little gate to the left of the slug and lettuce (don't even think about it!) Go through it and down the steps. Their cocktails are the best in Bath and between 5 and 8 it's buy 1 get one free. http://www.sub13.net/gallery
The most exclusive bar is probably Opium. It's really hard to find as it's in the vaults under Pulteney bridge but it's worth it. http://www.opiumbars.com/
To end the night I would suggest either Opa (can get rather busy) http://opabath.com/ but it has a dance floor or just around the corner is
Circo http://www.circobar.co.uk/ Again it has a dance floor and serves great cocktails.

Hope this helps and you have a great night
