Just use HMRC's guide rates, they're not far off on cars, **** for bikes though.

160 round trip good luck with that, I do Tamworth junct 10 m42 regular as clockwork 127 miles door to door one way, allow at least £30 for petrol and another 15 towards your next tyre :'( :'( :'(

Thanx peps they reckon 48 miles per gallon for my
Bike so around 40 quid fuel but 250 mile from nunney as a round trip

Just looked and the nec is 97 miles away. Not sure where I got 80 miles from. I seem to remember an old girlfriend and something to do with Birmingham. My memory fades
