Not entirely sure if Chris was a member of WB but he certainly was a member of Wiltshire Riders way back when. Sadly Chris passed away about 2 weeks ago, although I only found out last night :'(. He had been battling prostrate cancer for about three years.

There will be some of the WB members who were part of WR who will remember Blue and his then lady friend, Helen Stocks. As a mark of rememberance, Suggsy has arranged a meet at The Churchill Arms in West Lavington for a drink to celebrate Chris' life on Sunday 17th March at 12 noon.

Feel free to pop along if you so wish (a bike is not a necessity on this occasion).

Chris was "old school" and a real gent. I'll be there if at all possible.

That's very sad news, he was an original member of WB, one of our first. RIP

Nooo, so sorry to hear this. :'(

Blue was a great friend back in the early days of WB and we had loads of laughs together. Chris rescued me and got me home safely when I was released/talked my way out of GWH following my accident. Always a perfect gent and a true friend.

My condolences to his family & friends. He will be sadly missed.

We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box.”

Speedy it's Sunday the 17th for definite.

There is also a service to Celebrate his life at Lydiard Conference Centre at 2.30 on the same day. The family have indicated that any of his biking pals may attend. However, they have asked for me to collate numbers etc as they will be supplying teas/coffees/sandwiches and need to cater appropriately. As I'm not on here too often, please would you email me at kj@bikerfm.co.uk if you are planning on attending the service. Thanks kj
