Just to let you all know I saw Charley Boorman in The Brewers Arms in Wanborough yesterday lunch time.
I was in there for a meeting with my boss, and I drove into the car park and saw a BMW GS Motorbike with the sort of stickers that Charley and Ewan had for the Long Way Round and then I noticed the Long Way Down Sticker. I didnt think much more about it until I went in to ask for my table and saw him sat there with a load of other peeps.
I found out from the waiter that he was down in Swindon as WHSmith's were taking him out as they have done some deal with his new series the Long Way Down, Ewan was invited but could not make it.
At the end of my meal and his he was having some piccies taken with the staff so I took the opertunity to go over and say hello, very freindly bloke.
Just a shame he had to leave when it was peeing it down and he had to ride all the way back to London in it......... Still shows that it doesnt only rain on us low lifes it also rains on the stars as well. ;D ;D
