All year round on the Bandit but the XS11 stays in the garage between October and March.

Heated grips and thermal clothing make dry cold winter riding more pleasurable. 8-)

All year for the last 3 winters. Probably not going to be making much use of the bike this winter. Should be getting a car allowance from work and the bike needs quite a few bits and pieces doing, so it looks like she's going up on a stand and I'll spend a couple of months doing it all.

Yep, all year too.......mostly just commuting to work. If it gets icy then I have to use the car - live at the top of a big hill!

My bikes are insured all year round and I take them out when we have a nice day in the winter. I used to go to all the fuss of putting them away for 6 months but thanks to global warming, winters 'ain't like they used to be' and I don't think it's so necessary now. Besides, Wilts CC don't use much grit around here anyway so as long as you wash them off after a ride, I wouldn't worry too much.

As for riding every day in winter, well I don't have to cos I use the car or catch the bus. Bikes are kept in my lovely dry garage hooked up to an optimate. Rather that than a pile of rust come summer time.

All year riding here too - bikes are all taxed and insured for year round

Have no car licence, so ice/snow I avoid by using the bus for work.
With a grandchild on the way I might need to think about attempting to learn to drive one of those four wheeled monstrosities :P

(or finally get the chair attached to the old soupdream ) wallace and grommit - here we come ;D

    SnaP~~X~X~{:>
