Mark. You could have left all the camping stuff at home, got 13 mpg and used the money saved on a hotel. ;D
P.S. You could have still taken the NUTS magazine as that doesn't weigh much.

About 200 miles to a tank, on my '99 Thundercat.

But I'm pretty caution with the throttle, so... :-/

I get about 60 from the Honda around town.

The Sv I dread to think.... anywhere between 100 and 140 miles to a tank... depends on the loud switch... The mini is almost as good at 38mpg

I used to carry a note book back in the early days and made a not of the MPG and the cost and how many mile I got to a gallon (now litre)

Its a bit "anorakie"... :P but the real results would frighten you.

I took this nostalgic picture of my GS1000E back in 1981. Thats the Jet garage (now Fiat) behind by the Lysley. It had a petrol attendant then who filled the bike for you.

Think yourselfs lucky how cheap petrol is today it won't be long before we are paying that for a litre!.... >

    ACTUALLY

The £1.61 is the gallon price or 4.54 litres

    Thats 35p a litre............

I have had 170 miles out of the CBR400 (but did manage to run out of petrol, well at least to have to switch the reserve on at that point). Not sure how many mpg that equates to..... maths not my strongest point.

In my first month on the Ninja 250, I've done 1260 miles and filled it up 7 times with a total of 82 litres (18 gallons), so that works out at an average of 315 miles/week, 180 miles/tank, 70 miles/gallon.
