if you had 10 grand to spend on a bike would you spend it on a classic bike you've always wanted or a modern bike you always wanted (say what bike as well). i'd go classic as the only way price will go is up and easier to tinker with. not to mention more fun to ride as well . what would you guys/girls go for?????

For ten large ones it'd be possible to get one of each...

For modern I'd probably stick with what I currently have (ZX-10R - why not? It's more than fast enough for the road, and I kinda like it) and for the classic I'd get a mid-70s Z1000 (might be able to get one of those, just need to persuade the owner to sell me it...)

If it was my money I'd prob go for a classic as an investment. If it was given to me I'd get a spanking new supermoto and throw as many shiny bits at it I could in the budget

£10 grand, I'd buy more than one, or probably would get the SV done properly.

But if it have to be one bike then a classic it would be. Would like a brit bike.... not sure which, or a 80's turbo bike.

Modern...I've never grasped the classic appeal personally
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.
