Hi All and once again big thanks for the words of encouragement.
Am hoping that last Friday I was just tired when I sat on the 500 for the first time, yep you folks as always are right and when I finally got it moving it did feel light, but my arms still felt like they were being pulled from their sockets. Instructor will move handle bar forward for me so hope that will make a difference.

Celtic I'm training with ABC training here in Swindon, (recommended by bubblyblonde)
Ah Nico_Babe think you may be quiet a bit in front of me, but am gong to look at a 125 on Tuesday so hopefully will be out on my own getting more riding experience and hopefully that will help me make progress on my DAS.

grats as said you will quickly get used to it, its more about the technique of handling the weight that you get used to so it will get easier and easier to do everything you did on the 125

Yep you do get used to handling the extra weight very very quickly, after DAS you will find a 125 a bit limiting tho
