Bit late notice I realise but I too not be turning up. I have been thinking about it all day and decided about lunch time I wouldnt be coming. My rear tyre does not have the required ~700 miles (250mi each way and allowing up to 200 for the ride) life left in it that I need to get there and back and complete the ride out.

Doesn't help the way I ride it either. Its a year old (only just by a few weeks) and has 6500 miles on it, and this will be tyre #3 in a couple of hundred more miles. Expensive toy these sports bikes!
