I don't think you will look ridiculous on a 600 supersport bike at 5 6" as most of them are tiny. I am 6'0" and a bit overweight and I look really ridiculous on my 675 Daytona but I don't mind because its such a good little bike

Reckon any of the 6's would fit you...

Ask Basil, he comes in at 5ft nothing I'm sure he can help you out ;-)

Most 600s and 1000s for that matter will suit the shorter rider , at 5ft11 I can't get on with small modern sports bikes. The last big bike I was comfy on was my 929 Fireblade , the GSXR was too small for me . Look at the size of most racers in the paddocks , they're built like jockeys in leather!

Good luck finding something you get on with. The Daytona is a really small bike so might be worth a look I know the Street Triple which shares its engine is quite a low bike as my other half (not the girl on the pic) can get her feet down to the floor on the Street and shes 5ft6) CBR600RR or the R6 should suit you fairly well too .

    Happy bike hunting

The R6 feels tiny to me. Nice piece of kit too... [smiley=happy.gif]

As someone else at 5'6", it isnt the size; the 08 zx6r i had was actually quite cramped, it is seat height, they seem to be made for people over 6' or carry a step-ladder! You can of course lower the bike, but i have sat on an 09 zx6r, a 10 r6 and the new gsxr600 and the only one without extreme tip-toes is the suzuki. A rough guide for me is the max seat height i can safely use is 805mm.

You are the perfect size for a sports bike. Look at racers, the majority are around the same height as you. The zx6r b1 is tiny and a real hoot.

I'm only 5'8" and have never had a problem with most bikes except the trailie/enduro bikes.

THB, it's not how you look on a machine, it's how it feels to you.

    Cool, thanks chaps.
I do feel comfy on most, though the 675 Day feels too fall for me.

If i can afford it id like a newer R6 they seem small-ish. But would love a zx6.
    Ill see though.
