Just wondering if there are any good cheap intercoms out there?
The GF thinks it would be nice to talk to me when we are out on the bike :-/

Wasn't that impressed with me saying how nice it is not to have to talk

I've stayed clear of that. My Mrs's singing is a nightmare!

I got an Oxford Bike Mic 4 for when Hazel-nut was first on the bike. Used it about twice then she decided to go and get her own bike :P

Hi I've got a Nady PMC-2X which I use when I've got my daughter on the back.

Its really good for the money - the only downside is that it eats batteries fairly quickly, and you have a lead dangling from your helmet all the time which can be a bit of a pain when you're riding solo.

The sound quality is brilliant at all legal speeds the only time it can get crackly is if you use cheapo batteries or they start going flat.

I got mine off Ebay for about £25 but I think normal price is around £40.

Well worth it if you don't want to spend a lot.

Is it actually really helpful to be able to chat to your pillion if nothing else to warn them to hang on

I use the cardo scala but they are a bit pricey, bluetooth units fit to each helmet with internal speakers and boom mic
