Took my l'il MT-03 out for a great ride today. Left home at 10am, back just after 3pm, 90 miles, caught 1/2 hour of Sunday morning footie between old opponents/friends, cup of tea with cousin I've not seen in years, a few quick pics at Wardour Castle and rounded off with a great pint of ale in my local.
All joined up with A, B and C road fun, cracking dry roads and even enjoyed the built up leaf debris and gravel on single track byeways - sort of!
I was only moaning to a biker mate the other day about how busy our roads are compared to France, won't be whingeing again after today, hardly a car (or horse) on the road, guess everyone was at out of town shopping centres looking for the latest Primark bargain!
The only slight down is the realisation that the Gixer11 is gonna get passed over as the ride of choice for most of the winter months, I'm just having soooooooooooo much fun on the MT - and damn sight easier to haul around on our gravel drive as well :'(
