hello all ive not been on for a bit due to various problems but i need some advice
ive just got my hands on a stripped down er5 which im going to cleanup and reassemble its been sat in storage for about 10 year but in good condition i just want to know whats the best way to clean the engine its all complete and the pant on the casings is in god condition just very dirty whats the best stuff on the market for getting 10 year old muck off engines

Hire a steam cleaner? I watch a lot of the discovery turbo programs like wheeler dealers, and 'a car/bike/harley etc is born, and they sometmes use steam cleaners to bring up really nasty looking engines...

cheap pound shop spray on oven cleaner! youll thank me for the info after youve done it... :-)

i used gunk green universal cleaner quit good did a good job

And whatever you use be careful if you use it on your drive that you wash it off properly. Lesson learnt :-[
