In addition to the Health & Safety nazis the idea would have to overcome the most debilitating and evil disease to affect our nation; nimbyism - can you imagine what the Middle England Taliban would be like after the Mail and Express have whipped them up into a frenzy of righteous indignation? Castle Combe and Croft to begin with have already fallen foul of the nimbys and noise tests at all other circuits are tighter this year. Can you imagine that Middle England would consider permitting people to enjoy themselves for even a nanosecond?
Nice idea but I fear that the MET would never ever let it happen :-(

Health and safety. The biggest excuse in 21st century UK.

Working with H&S every day it is a small amount of legislation and a vast amount of common sense. I agree with Scotty that the NIMBY croud would kill this at one fell swoop. Mind you, if the same was suggested in germany today?? I think it would never happen!
