Really sorry to hear, selfishly I can't help thinking 'that might be me' when I hear news of a biker accident. Thoughts also turn t0 the biker friends I have lost over the years or who have had bad injuries, sadly far too many. There is no getting away from the added risk we take on when on a bike compared to in a car.

Last week we had air ambulance pick up a chap here in Blandford who had had a seizure whilst riding his bike, even though from what we understand he was in a 30 obeying the speed limit, the total lack of control as his body effectively shut down has led to a very bad accident and him in a very poor way.

We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box.”

In my experience those sort of quotes are best left to medical people. When I was in the ambulance service I attended an RTC and the police officer was giving CPR when we looked the person was as flat as a pancake, he had been run over by a lorry.
