    Are pre-load adjuster any good or are the just really for show.

    had my rear done and the bike seems to settle better at the rear when cornering hard and feels like the wheel is being pushed down harder where as before it used to 'skip' when cornering hard. my 2p
    onwards and upwards and sometimes a little sidewards....

    Guess it depends whether you want to adjust your pre-load really...

    You do mean Preload right? Well, yes, you should notice a huge difference when adjusting for different loads i.e solo, pillion riding, with luggage etc. Damping, if you mean that, then its a different matter altogether.

    Pre load will make a huge difference to the feel of the bike.
