    Hi ive just passed my A2 can i carry pillions on my bike it has foot pegs and a grab rail but im just thinking of the insurence will i get pulled over because of having a pillion?

    Dunno what A2 is, full license? My insurance needs carrying pillions to be specified.

    It's not clear from the dvla website, but from motorcycle training websites the answer seems to be yes you can carry a pillion with an A2 licence.

    I'd check with the DVLA.

    yup, you can carry pillions on an A2 and use the motorway but pillion use must be declared on insurance...i'm A2 myself
    onwards and upwards and sometimes a little sidewards....

    Passed my test on a RD250 Yamaha in 1976 when I was 17. Chucked away my L plates.

    Then in the 80's they bought in the 125 learner law and I have never understood it since...

    Me too dont understand all this mod 1 mod2 a1 passed in 1979 and that was that.
