    I was there with the 125 limit but yep well before all the other limits and licence restrictions etc. Never really got my head around it all...thankfully no need.

    Me as well exept it was 75 and an old BSA 250 ;D
    Examiner just walked around Nam with a clip board watching you,

    And me, passed in 1980 on an X5 in the rain, nearly fell off but was out of sight of examiner so it didn't matter.

    Just a note if you've never taken a pillion before or they haven't ridden pillion just go steady as it can really change the bikes handling especially if they sit up going round a corner!! not funny

    Me too I passed mine when I was just 17 back in 1982 on my Yamaha XS250 Special on a rainy day in September. The examiner told you where to go and you just rode off into the distance, 20 mins later you threw away your L plates 8-)

    Was that a C15..? that was my first bike as well..

    Hey Sam, you have a Full Motorcycle Licence, albeit restricted to 33bhp. So that means you can carry pillions, as long as the insurance covers you.
