My dip beam, aux lights and spots are all fitted with HID's ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
MOT man was happy with the beam height, spread and pattern so therefore I am as well
must be good watching people drive into ditches etc. on dark nights after passing you.
The trick is not to have them on when there's someone coming the other way ;D I find that helps. The dip beam is properly adjusted, I never get flashed and no ones ended up in the ditch for the three years I have had it fitted I do agree though that badly adjusted HID's are a real pain for all concerned.Originally Posted by wiltsdan
It's not about being a pain in the arse to others, it's about being seen and not ending up dead or worst because some numpty didn't see you :-/
But I'd rather annoy someone than not be seen by them
This bloke explains it well

The problem is that it isn't just an annoyance, It's plain lethal if you cop an eye full of HiD. The dazzle blinds you and I mean BLINDS.... you may well have been seen, but the other guy is now in the opposite ditch....Originally Posted by Swanny
Replaced the standard bulbs with Green LED's
Just dont do it aftermarket ones look naff on cars and bikes my neighbours just fitted some on his old VW Sharon (should have fixed his smokey engine what a prat)
If you want to be seem more buy a brighter jacket. As BB & Jon all they do is annoy other road users >
I'm not talking about HiD lights I'm looking at LEDs.
Kevin that's a matter of personal opinion, personally I think the bikes in the videos look better with the extra lights.
I like to personalize cars/bikes etc. I think everything can be improved on compared to standard, but some people do go over the top.
As for wearing a hi viz ;D no thanks I'll stick to lights
Stu I think they look great
