    We got invited to display our bikes at the McLaren car show and factory open day

    I installed the phone systems there, all 8 of them. Do you know, when the contractors laid the tile floors, Ron Dennis turned up, walked around the ground floor, got in the lift to basement and when he got out in the basement, the tiles didn't line up like they did with the ground floor, so he had them lift the whole basement floor and relay it. I was chatting to them, they were nearly in tears.

    Reminds me of a story I heard about Arnold Weinstock (director of GEC Mechanical Handling in Melksham) who, apparently, had his (very long) driveway laid with white marble chipping. On inspection he noticed that not all the chips were white, and made the company take out, by hand, every non-white chipping before he would pay!
