In case anyones interested Lidl will have bike gear again from Thursday 28th.
Not sure about the boots (of course each to their own) but the baselayers are brilliant even if I do wear them more for walking the dogs than riding the bike. They are great on the bike too though.

Thanks Nicky. The kidney belt is excellent value for money – I have two as I use one for a bit of extra back support at work. I found the winter gloves are better suited to summer use.
The waterproof over trousers and jacket are just that – I can’t fault them. That said I bought the waterproofs a few years ago so they may have changed – worth a look though.
