Dilemma, has anyone got any recommendations about 1 piece leather suits for the taller person? Being 6'5" and a lean 15stone I've always had trouble getting stuff to fit, so wondered if anyone has done any of the following, or can make a suggestion.

A - bought a big suit and had it altered to fit
B - had a jacket and separate trousers altered to make it join
C - know what size would be a good place to start

Off to Swindon on the weekend but would appreciate any info beforehand

How much are you looking to spend?
A custom suit is the best option. When you factor in alterations I bet there's not much in it.
Crowtree are quite reasonable if BKS are a little too expensive

Other brands worth checking out for made-to-measure would include Scott, MW, Hideout. Not sure if Karen at ZAK is still making suits but worth enquiring nonetheless.
May be worth a browse in The Shop Formerly Known As George White to see if they have any of the less usual sizes on the racks.
    Good luck...

Have a surgeon join your knees to your feet and remove everything in between, problem solved

Quick update if anyone's interested and same info if your not. So far it looks like alterations to fit the existing kit together is the best option, can't face surgery again . For the record it appears MW & Crowtree are no longer trading, Hideout and Hill4leather can both fit them together, but I haven't got any quote yet. Both are quite a trip so if anyone knows somewhere more locals this would be useful. Also tried GW's new place today, but no array of jumble like previous.

Thanks for the info chaps, is Hunar a hobbit??? ;D

This lady does top work & is in Swindon. She added a new joining zip to my two piece leathers over a year ago & still working well. She can do almost anything you require. Might be a waiting time, but definitively worth it.
