    I won a set of NOS Teknic leathers on eBay and have worn them twice, when I took them off today I noticed a thread on the inner thigh. Closer inspection has revealed that the seam on the stretch panels (NOT leather) on the inside of the thigh has unravelled on the left, and is frayed on the right.
    I contacted the seller and they have said that I can return them for a full refund, BUT;
    A: I like them and they fit and
    B: I'll have to pay about 10-15£ to post them back.

    Can I just stitch them up? Will other seams go??
    Any thoughts? (And losing weight is not among them!)

    Is it stretch panel to stretch panel or stretch panel to leather?

    Find a decent seamstress or tailor that will repair with an overlocker.
    This should sort it out for you!

    P.s. The "overlocker repair"' is the important bit as it is stronger than a standard sewing machine join.

    I believe Timpsons shoe repairers do this type of repair.
    If you get stuck phone GM stevens in Trowbridge - they have the contact details of a motorcycle leather repair guy in the Trowbridge area.

    If all else fails - loose some weight

    You could try Cobra Leathers in Swindon - www.cobra-leathers.co.uk. Others have recommended them in the past (they have mine at the moment so cannot comment just yet!)
