I have my doubts this would be coils as you say it's effecting the two end pots. As always I would start with the basics, check spark at the plugs, possible water ingress due to recent weather....

I agree with BB , book your ferries now and your campsite etc after. It's easier to change your ferry timings later in the year.

I would go with the last 2 posts, but be absolutely certain the plates are fitted correctly it is quite common to have to put the last plate in slightly off from all the others if that makes sense.
