    The difference is not great, but it is there.
    Most modern bikes have very adequate brakes, which is why a small loss in overall stopping power is tolerable as a swap for the better steering...

    They do look kool,main reason for me buying them! ::)
    They weigh 1lb lighter each than the standard disc

    Gav,as far as staying to the left or right of the lane,thats where you should be anyway depending on which way the corner goes......On the far left for right-handers and a foot inside the white line...
