I'm not working, I will get Charly out from the garage and we will come along and add to the send off. I'll see if Mikey can come too
Terrible news, so sad :(
Hope you're beginning to feel less like a punchbag by now :)
But you do realise you can buy helicopter experiences, you don't have to bin your bike to get one ;)
Found it - On dear, do you really think I look old enough to be born in 1956!?
Nope, not me - don't think I've even ever been in there...
I shall have to go and investigate this now!
Sounds like everyone has picked their groups now, but for anyone else still thinking about it but hesitating due to money, WABAM do offer sponsership when they have available funds. I did mine under...
I've really not been keeping up with the new members but,
1) Hello from a fellow lady biker!
2) congrats on the pass :)
3) did you decide what bike to get yet?
Wow, a renewal that's actually less than the year before!? Good on Bennetts!
Of course, other groups are available! :)
I never felt I got that attitude from WABAM either, but they do require you to have a bike capable of reaching and maintaining national speed limit, although I don't know if they have an engine size...
If anyone under 30 is thinking about doing it, talk to WABAM as they have had a 'scholarship' programme which will refund you the cost of the skill for life package (if it's still available). You...
that sounds like quite a good plan... hopefully lower costs for them, but still a store you can collect from, get some advice etc - that bit I really appreciate when I pop in for stuff.
I get nooj to do it :o
I've not been able to get out on the bike in ages, he'll be a right grump to start when I do probably... But at least there's no salt in the garage!
Oops, I may have got that wrong, someone else just told me Cross Keys junction - perhaps just avoid that whole stretch of road!
I've just heard the A4 is closed at the Hare and Hounds pub in Corsham due to an accident. Anyone heading to the H&C from Chippenham direction tonight, it might be a good idea to avoid that route and...
I was just about to suggest vinyl too, allows you to put it back as it was later - or start again if you mess up!
I think £50ish to Nooj (or your preferred company) once a year in return for a clean and protected bike (to a much better standard than I would manage!) is nothing really. If I rode more I'd up it...
They should come up on comparison sites, but I've been with h&r for a few years, they seemed to be good for me as a new rider - your mileage may vary!
They are also helpful on the phone too which...
That's going to be fun/dangerous... armed police and bikers immediately going to get something out of their panniers when stopped!
Reading the rule it sounds like you don't wear it while riding but must put one on when stopped at the side of the road - so when the police stop you to check that you have your high viz, I guess you...
If you're anywhere near Chippenham I use DC Fry - not the cheapest but very fair and really do seem to want to give you a pass if they possibly can!
The batman helmet is a bit over the top, but the ears - all the best people have ears (you just can't have the lynx ones :o)
It's one of my favorites too, I know a lot of us can be quite 'enthusiastic' along there!
Just a quick warning for those of you using the B3109.
At the s-bend just as you come out of Bradford Leigh there's a load of mud and stones/gravel on the road - it's fairly hidden as you come...
