Its time for new tyres again!, i only get about 7 months out of a rear and like to change them as a pair (even though the fronts only about 50% worn)
I had Metzler z6 fitted earlier in the year,...
I used to ride horses, never on the road though as i always thought they were too unpredictable, but i had fun riding around the paddock and doing a few jumps (got thrown off a few times too!), but...
I nearly had my first off sliding on horse crap !
Came round a bend, giant horse turd in the middle of the lane and i couldnt avoid it, my front wheel hit it and i slid towards the centre of the...
250 miles on 16 litres of fuel is actually 71mpg, still very good economy though, if you used the 2.5 litre reserve as well (i'm not sure if you did), then its only 61mpg
My FZS600 does 210 miles...
And you can read it online too, if your del freeguard, your article in on page 10 at the bottom

There is always a big box full of them in Nutz4bikes (GMstevens) in trowbridge if your ever passing, just inside the door on the desk
Congrats, same as everyone else has said, DAS is the only way to go really, if you don't, you will limit your bike choices once you have passed
I did my DAS and went back to my 125, i had a GS500 and a 125 and swapped between them, different bikes suit different purposes, neither was a better bike, just that 1 was more powerful than the...
I did my DAS last october, so have been riding for less than a year, and started on my CM125, stepped up to a GS500, then on up to my FZS600, i'm moving on up to an FZ1 in the next few months, and...
I ride a FZS600 as my main bike, but i also have a 1982 Honda CM125 for messing about with and riding round town on when i dont want to get my big bike out, and i reckon that a learner is much better...
I actually use the heated grips on my bike to warm the water in my gloves when its hammering it down with rain !, works a treat as it only takes about 10 minutes to warm the water up on the highest...
I would recommend just using normal non waterproof gloves when it rains, you will get wet hands, and once you get home, you will dry them, and your gloves !
I was riding back from London yesterday...
I just bought myself a pair of Metzler Z6 tyres for my bike, £140 delivered for the pair as they are on offer this month :)
I've always used and trusted Avon Storms in the past, so lets hope...
Get yourself a little tin of bob heath antifog, it comes in a small spray can and will keep off the heaviest of misting or steaming up
I have been using it for years and it works so well, you can...
I asked him, and he said he can do the work, but not this week as he is doing a front end rebuild on a gpz500, he would like to see the quote you got from SJS to see what parts/work is needed, his...
when you say timing, do you mean balancing the carbs ?, he does that, and can setup the mixture as well.
If you mean ignition timing, i thought most of the more modern bikes were all timed by the...
Its all easy stuff based on what you have listed above, get a quote from SJS and then give my neighbour but one a ring and i think you will be surprised how much cheaper he is than a dealer.
the...
I rode up to manchester on my bike yesterday, and as it was a gloriously sunny day, i just had a t-shirt on under my textile jacket, and my summer gloves on instead of my winter ones.
But the time...
there's a bloke a few doors down from me in Warminster that does bike repairs and welding, very cheap and does a very good job, i know quite a few people that have used him and been very happy with...
you should have seen if there was any interest in mechanically minded people popping round to have a look at it for you, another forum i visit regularly has bacon sarnies and coffee days where anyone...
Could be a coil breaking down, try swapping the coils over and seeing if the problem goes to the other side
I thought i would take my 1982 Honda CM125 out for a blast today, it started out running nicely, and could reach 65-70mph which is what it has always done, but about 30 miles into my ride, it started...
Thanks everyone for the welcome, seems berry friendly on here!
I should have my bike all fixed and ready to run except for the rear tyre by the end of the weekend, I am an electronics engineer, so...
