    Yes. The only ones that I know of that are definitely plastic are the ZZR1400/ZX12R and some trialie type ones.
    *most* other bikes have metal tanks, plastic ones are only usually used when you have...

    I always fit 'em to my bikes ... means no scratches when using tank bags, which is a big plus - also, for those with plastic tanks it means you can actually *use* a tank bag, which is nice.

    If it's been stood without use then yes, the carb jets could well be blocked or varnished over with stale fuel deposits - doesn't take long for it to happen...

    FZR600R engines, Fazer 600 will fit, not sure about the YZF as I'm pretty sure the frames are different - the YZF, for example, is an aluminium deltabox whereas the Thundercat is a steel version -...

    I would say that braided hoses are good if you need replacements, simply because they'll last a lot longer than standard OE hoses ... but if it's performance you're after, then better pads, good...

    Bikes are generally worth more in bits, however you always end up with "stuff" left over that noone wants (airboxes, fuse boxes etc.) - it depends on what YOU want fella - do you want the bike fixed...
