    Re: Scooter boys, and girls

I grew up near Highworth and hung about on my AP50, believe me there isn't much else to do there of an evening if you're 16 or 17!! Are the kids on twist'n'gos interested in bikes or just waiting...

    Re: Ride Magazine

It's a good survey but can be a bit biased depending on how rose tinted a certain model's owners are. Still a whole lot less biased than the journos!! The Tuono I had was the one they originally...

Re: It's going to be a cold and white Easter!

Lots of bikes have a tip over sensor so cut the engine once horizontal. Should be able to start again once upright though. At least you & the youngster are OK, as said, the bike is just that.

Wahaay let's all have cheaper fuel, bollocks to the planet! Great. At some point we have to wake up to the real cost of global warming and IMHO the only way to reduce fuel usage is to price fix. Even...

    Re: Twins, Triples, Fours...

My Tuono cost more in tyres than petrol. Don't get a v twin if you want lots of miles from a back tyre...
It also revved to 11k redline so quite high, but had balancer shafts so no vibration at all...

Sound, grunt, especially exiting bends, looks & panache. Only ridden a triple once (150 Speed Triple) so can't really comment but I'm sure the triple owners can tell you more.

Totally agree with what Graeme says. I've never more than hand tightened any canister type filter and never had one come undone.
