I've been going to New Road for years, great bunch of lads. Bren, the owner, is an avid trackdayer and all-round decent bloke. Can't recommend them enough.

I think thats the place that Roy Vincent in Warminster recommends and uses as he doesn't do MOT's.
Possibly. I've used New Road for years and they're very good. For repairs I use Wayne...
New road service station in Codford do bikes and bike MOTs, it's owned by a biker and he's always sorted me out :)
As already mentioned, technically they're illegal if they are too dark, but I've always ridden with one in bright sunlight and carry a clear one around with me. Youre unlikely to get too much stick...
I saw this this morning and it was a truly horrific collision :(
RIP Marco. A sad loss to the sport. :(
Thank you very much but Toph has very kindly said he'll do it for me :)
No worries, hope you get it sorted :)
My father in law is a welder, does ornamental ironwork mainly but has welded up a friend's ZX6R downpipes several times. If you're able to whip the pipe off the bike and bring it over to Warminster I...
good luck to any1 doing that! might find themselves locked up pretty sharpish with my history. lol
LOL!
Was stopped on Hilperton Drive this afternoon about 420pm when a lovely old Duke came burbling down the hill with twin race cans, was hoping you'd open it up so I could hear them but you burbled past...
Might wanna delete your personal details from the bottom - there's enough there to clone your ID! bad luck on the 59 ;)
Just googled it and I'm very jealous! Looks like an awesome bit of kit.
I'd be careful in using it on a road bike though; do anything daft and it can be seized as evidence.
I bought a pair of Spada gloves from the bargain bin at Phoenix for £20. A week later I saw identical gloves at Hayballs, with Richa branding, for £47! They're comfy and seem reasonably robust.

Hope you get the bike sorted quickly with the minimum of cost :)
Hey guys,
I popped down to Infinity in Southampton today and they're doing a promotion on helmets - up to £100 off if you trade in your old one, depending on the price of the new one. I went down...
Did this happen on the mini roundabout onto Brunel Rd in Salisbury? A friend test rode my R1 for me (my license was away with DVLA so I couldn't ride it) and he lost the back end on that roundabout...
As already mentioned, Pinlock is the only true way to solve the problem. My visor didn't have pinlock functionality, so Infinity Motorcycles in Southampton drilled two small holes in the visor and...
I always ride with the balls of my feet on the pegs unless I need to change gear / brake. I find it aids in ground clearance, gives better 'feel' for what the bike's doing and also forces you to get...
Congratulations on the new bike :) I'll look out for you around Warminster :)
I'm very envious of your engine building skills, it's something I've never attempted. Hope you get it all sorted out :)
It's the air from the rubber cap being pushed into the nipple and back out through the threads but I've called them and they've said to take it straight in and they'll sort it while I wait which...
Well they had it in yesterday and state there's nothing wrong with it. To be fair, it ran ok coming home but since they've serviced it and bled the brakes they're really spongey and ineffectual!!!...
I've had two and also had a k3 GSXR for 6 weeks; I preferred the R1s :)
That's fantastic!
Lol@Alex - I used to have a TLR so I see where you're coming from!
If anyone has an 04-05 R1 I could take for a spin it'd be much appreciated?! :)
UPDATE: The bike shop have MOTd and serviced it and test ridden it twice, and have decided that it has 'all the characteristics one would expect of that model R1'. So it would appear that the 04-05...
