Well it's been a while since I've been all that active on here, so I thought I'd better introduce myself again! Was a nice end to my Friday at work to wander back to the bike and find this tucked...
Worth having a poke around to see if your bike already has this.
I think mine (a US-sourced parallel import Yamaha Thundercat) has an extra connector on each indicator to enable the running...
Red one, should be back up and running in the next fortnight or so - MOT next week, it'll definitely need a few bits so maybe a week to get parts in and get it done :D
No, it's my only bike... it's just neglected!
Welcome :) I'm in Swindon too and have your bike's little brother, a Thundercat - will keep an eye out for you when mine's back on the road!
Bizarrely I'm doing it all backwards. I'm just getting mine out now - 2012 has been crap biking wise and it's spent most of the year with no tax, no MOT and a flat battery. I'm determined not to let...
oooh that's not far from me, i might be tempted by a takeaway :D
well done mate, best of luck for Mod 1 :)
Robin,
Spotted you passing through Chiseldon yesterday while out for a walk - thought the bike looked familiar from a distance, the matching panniers are a dead giveaway :D
gentleman of leisure, unfortunately :'(
when i'm not scrounging off the taxpayer i do various geeky data/excel-type stuff for HR departments (or whoever will have me). need to get back to it, I've...
Without wanting to come across all grinch-like, entering your car/bike reg into some random website isn't usually the best idea.
Yup, Jen sings in a local band called Echo, you can find them at http://www.echo-band.co.uk with a gig listing. Mostly around Swindon but some further towards Trobro (and some in the other...
Have fun, I love Rhayader :)
mine's rock climbing, can't get enough of it
Personally I hate riding without a pinlock insert (I seem to fog up my lid very easily). I've got a dark tinted visor with a clear pinlock insert.
However, if I'm going out and there's any...
the only other thing on my bike key is a rubber/plastic yamaha keyring, and I've got a clipper on the rest of my keys to clip the bike key with. when i'm riding, the bike key goes in the bike...
The service book should say how much oil your bike needs, but for comparison my Thundercat takes just over three litres (from memory). Chances are, if the "feed me oil" light comes on, it wants more...
Congrats mate, now onto Mod 2!! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Hi Will,
I'm sure you'll enjoy the VanVan just as much as Jen and I both have. Fantastic little bike and so versatile :)
Welcome to WB too, hope to see you on a ride-out or up the Sally soon
...
Me I'll nod to just about anything on two wheels - including most sensible-looking scoot riders. I used to get plenty of nods on my VanVan - the only common exception being from Harley riders...

Welcome to WB :) Nice looking bike too, was good seeing it yesterday [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
Chris
Yeah it was a really good run thanks [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
