I always ride to work :)
Yes. The only ones that I know of that are definitely plastic are the ZZR1400/ZX12R and some trialie type ones.
*most* other bikes have metal tanks, plastic ones are only usually used when you have...
Noooo .. that's my 7R 'fighter - green tank black cover ::) - it's only temporary until I spray the tank black :D
I always fit 'em to my bikes ... means no scratches when using tank bags, which is a big plus - also, for those with plastic tanks it means you can actually *use* a tank bag, which is nice.
...
Get well soon fella ...
Thanks for the kind words :) I must admit, the title did make me crap myself :D
Yea, I have just done an insurance job for RSA and their threshold is 70% too .. I gather that's about the norm.
Hope you are all groovy fella ...
*cough* orange one *cough* :P
If it's been stood without use then yes, the carb jets could well be blocked or varnished over with stale fuel deposits - doesn't take long for it to happen...
I've had a few bits repaired by Jenny, it's top work fella - you could probably get it cheaper, but that doesn't mean it'd be any good ... :)
Orange one ....
Personally I'm not a fan of that fairing, and the mileage, at 21k, isn't high at all.
2k over 10 years is nothing, BUT, even if it's been serviced, there's still things that...
FZR600R engines, Fazer 600 will fit, not sure about the YZF as I'm pretty sure the frames are different - the YZF, for example, is an aluminium deltabox whereas the Thundercat is a steel version -...
Is there anyone on this fine forum that makes vinyl stickers for the purpose of sticking on bikes? :)
I have a GSXR750 SRAD rear wheel in gold, with disc if that helps? ..
Things like those VFR's will be different as they are like that from the factory - everything seems to be down to the MOT tester's discretion..
um, <spelling nazi>INTEGRATED</nazi>...
I've heard this before - apparently the indicators are supposed to be a certain distance apart ...
Having said that, it doesn't seem to be consistent - i.e. I know those with both integrated...
Yes fella ... always replace it - how much is your head worth ? :)
What bike is it ? I might have one :)
You could get it fixed, but it'll probably be cheaper to get a good 2nd hand one to replace it TBH ...
I would say that braided hoses are good if you need replacements, simply because they'll last a lot longer than standard OE hoses ... but if it's performance you're after, then better pads, good...
agreed - I've used both and have, um .... issues with JHS TBH, MH racing on the other hand have always served me well :)
No worries fella .. nice to meet you, nice bike too ;)
Hell Awaits - Slayer .. ;)
Bikes are generally worth more in bits, however you always end up with "stuff" left over that noone wants (airboxes, fuse boxes etc.) - it depends on what YOU want fella - do you want the bike fixed...
Lovely to meet you, and your son ... and glad to have been able to help :)
Cheers ... Pete ;)
