    One of the sales guys at Bristol Kawasaki is an instructor at Castle Coombe. I had an informal chat with him a few weeks ago and he seemed OK.

    I've never done a track day, but quite fancy a go.

    I've also been in the car while the ice has been around, but on 2 wheels I just take it steady on this grease that results from the Council grit spreading. I reckon it's some additive they use that...

    Did 130 miles yesterday and rode through a light hail storm just south of Frome. Made me chuckle when some of the little hail stones bounced off the tank and up into my helmet, where they continued...

    Maybe I'm just lucky, but the standard headlights on all the recent bikes I've owned (VFR800, TDM900, Varadero, Fazer 1000) have all been excellent.

    The 6v one on my Triumph Tiger Cub isn't up...

    I put a new battery on the BM over Christmas. Had to unbolt the rear subframe to give enough space to do the job. :(

    I received a call this evening confirming our visit to the TT. We sail on the Wednesday of practice week and return the following Monday.

    Having hit a pedestrian a few years ago (whilst driving a car I hasten to add), it's an experience I would definitely not recommend. :-[ :'(
