Spoke to Fowlers who will charge me £60 plus for doing a diagnostics test if it turns out to be a faulty battery and not another fault, so phoned up blades of Swindon who were shocked at Fowlers and...

Hope you got your alarm sorted now? They certainly do drain batteries! I've now invested in a Oxford Maximiser charger which is working a treat :)
