I'm struggling.

Looks like he's got flat knee protectors which go down to his shins... leg sliders!?!
I struggle to always do lifesavers when I should, especially if I'm confident of what's behind anyway.
Caught myself a little over-confident once or twice when I've started to switch lanes at the...
Were you standing up when the ass area felt big? Lie JD said, they need to be comfy in the 'bike' position. Stick them on again and do a few squats... if they feel ok when it feels like you're...
10 years ago it was one of (parallel park, reverse park), one of (reverse round a corner, 3 point turn), and potentially emergency stop also.
I could only 2 of the 5 consistently so got pretty...
Really? It wasn't compulsory when I took my test (10 years ago)
Cheers Ross, that's pretty local for me (family) so could have been caught out!
I can vouch for that 'light' feeling... hitting a corner at normal speed and not realising it had just been re-surfaced with gravel, the handle bars felt like they'd completely snapped off! If I...
Ball of your foot on the peg unless you need to use the brake!
Obviously if your slow-speed maneuvring (filtering etc.) you might want to cover the brake, but certainly not if your cruising or...
You will lose the part year.
Also be aware you need to PROVE NCB.
If you sent off your original renewal notice to get this quote, then you won't have it to use again unless you took a copy.

Phoned them back and today the computer says £28 to change!!!
I'd written a Fireblade out of the question because of the last quote... now I have a difficult decision again! :)
I think that's likely. Let them know what I'm going to do and see if they'll give me a better deal then cancel and start the year again. Gonna end up having paid over £100 for 3 months insurance...
I don't mind paying more than the difference between the two quotes, I expect that.
I'm just amazed that it costs more to change from a 'cta to a VFR than it would for a brand new 12 month policy...
My Thundercat is off the road, at least temporarily, so I was looking at what I could get while I'm working out how bad the 'cat is. My policy started on 1st March and cost £150 fully comp.
So I...
Chain off the front sprocket and still making horrible noises :-[
Not as bad but I guess that's to be expected with no turning resistance.
Haynes manual and some basic tools bought - I guess...
I'm pretty sure the sprocket itself looks ok

I've had the sprocket cover off... nothing obvious in there and chain seems fine.
Could a loose sprocket cause the 'jumping'? It seems to be coming from the transmission, so it looks like I could...
Scotty, do you mean part # 12 on this diagram?
Sprocket carrier bearing (and wheel bearing) now replaced and all seems well at the back end.
There's definitely something wrong at the front end...
Well done mate!!!
So 70 complicated surgeries would max out a top earning general surgeon?
Seriously?
Once that's done I'll be listening again to that front sprocket!
More my riding ::)
Turns out the sprocket carrier bearing was shot and the seal gone; loose chain and tight nut were just red herrings. I blame Fish Hill :( lol
Hopefully not long til I'm back on the road ;D
No, it's not constant enough to be anything like that.
It's got worse now and really sounds like something inside the wheel, rather than rubbing externally.
Shavings on the wheel hub. I'm assuming coming from the crunching sound inside the wheel
