Did a ride out a few weeks ago with the IAM lot - bike got so filthy but was good fun. Trying the keep the skills in over the winter this year but does make for a lot of work cleaning it afterwards....
Took mine out for a socially distance cup of tea in Liphook, meeting up with a friend who rode up from Sussex. Tad nippy but lovely weather. Roads a bit busy mind.
So, when's the first ride out...
Evening!

Some bloke my wife works with rides a motorbike to and from work - has been pulled over twice on two consecutive evenings asking whether his journey was deemed essential. One would think bikers are...
How do! :)

It won't last long - the already mention itch will get you back in. I tried giving up when my first daughter was born - lasted all of 6 months before I had two wheels in the garage again.
Best of...
Evening.... good bikes those VFR's !! ;)

Evening!
VFR is now MoT'd and Tax'd - no major issues, just picked up on a few tight points on the chain which I knew about (will get that done soon). T'was my first ride on a bike for over a year - took it...
Fully aware - will comply completely with what is needed.

So.... is it wrong to take my bike for it's MoT ? I know there is a MoT extension in place, but seeing as mine expired last July it doesn't fall under that category. It's already to go, I just want...

Pete
Unfortunately, mine expired last July as I was not able to ride for medical reasons last year.
It will just have to wait now.
Pete
.... VFR was already for it's MoT, but now it would appear MoT stations are closing - fair enough, keep safe is the best thing - took this week off to do a number of jobs around the house, get MoT,...
Kawasaki AR125LC was the first bike until I pass the test, so the bike I 'upgraded' too was a Suzuki GS250T Custom - but, it was cursed - rear ended at a set of traffic lights on it, and later on I...
Hi! :)

Aye! New boots for me are also on the list! ;) Just got caught out last month with an insurance claim on my car which cost me my hard saved pennies that I put aside for the bike! (Lying b**tch...
Evening All.
Starting to make plans on getting the VFR back on the road for this year. Poor thing has been laid up since April last year due to my Op - but I've just been fully discharged last...
Evening and welcome!
Taking a forced break myself this year but should be back next year.

Just looking forward to a Haynes Brekkie. Guess I could take the cage down! ;)

I've missed a couple of the recent rides, which as some of you know was due to being in Hospital for over two weeks in May. I'm on the mend, fully mobile but following two operations and just over...
