Terrible, he should go to prison for the rest of his life, after all it’s common knowledge that if someone steals your things you’re meant to stand back and do nothing.
On a serious note I’d shake his hand!
Bloke should have a minor slap on the wrist for damaging the lampost.
Shame he didn't kill both, the survivor is going to be a lifelong tax burden to us all now. I genuinely hope the dead one went slow.
my bucket of fecks to give is empty for these two.
i doubt it will be a murder charge as that implies premeditation which does not apply. also it was not an accident why they came off the bike as there are no accidents, only collisions and they collided with road furniture
shame they did not both stop being oxygen thieves.
that being said the defendent was perhaps a "little" OTT as i would not have wanted to damage the bike any more than necessary.
If it was so wrong for him to "ram" the bike and the assumption that it could cause fatal injuries to the bottom feeding scumbags, oops i mean the two that had quite obviously just borrowed the bike, then why can the police do it ?
the law does allow you to use a vehicle as a weapon but only for defensive purposes and/or you percieve your life/limbs are in danger. so if anyone road rages you with a weapon drive through/over them :p
A driver accused of killing a man who stole his motorbike by ramming him with his car has been found not guilty of murder.
Jurors at Newcastle Crown Court cleared Mihai Dinisoae of murdering pillion passenger Joshua Molloy, 28, and also found him not guilty of causing GBH with intent to rider Mikey Dunwiddie, 28.
They failed to reach a verdict on the alternative charge of manslaughter and were discharged.
Don't steal is the simple answer....you never know what the repercussions could be!!!!
Reading into it a bit more he’s not a free man though, he’s been remanded in prison until it’s been decided wether to recharge him with manslaughter. Madness.

Pity it wasn't in Manchester - no-one would have heard anything about it !!!
I would like to think that I couldn't condone the killing of another human being no matter what wrong they've done you, and certainly not for stealing your bike, but reading this I didn't find me having any feeling of grief or wrongdoing on behalf of the scumbag thieving gits. It was their decision to go thieving that led to them being hunted down, if they had just cycled past then the guy wouldn't have ran them down, unless maybe one of them pushed in front of him at a checkout queue - he doesn't look like he takes prisoners
On a similar note, my Brothers next door neighbour in a little village on the chase did six years for deliberately mounting the pavement and running down a person and crippling them for life. He actually got eleven years but time off for good behaviour, etc. He's a nice enough bloke, bit of a hill-billy but well liked in the village and honest as the day is long, he has a key to my Brothers place and keeps an eye on it when he's away for weeks on end. This blokes 'motivation' was that he was driving through town and, out of the blue, saw the guy who had just come out of prison after doing time for raping his Sister, nuff said.
I honestly and truly believe that there’s not a human on the planet who’s isn’t capable of killing another human being, it just takes different circumstances for different people but with the right provocation it’s in every one of us.
Speaking for myself if a bloke so much as hurt a hair on my sisters head being run over would genuinely be the least of his concerns, (I suspect the same would be said for touching one of my bikes as well )
He got 10 years.

San Quentin not a good place to be with this Covid swanning around.

I think there is something not quit right with me as I don't find anything wrong with what he did.
My personal view is that if some low life scum thieves, breaks in to your property or whatever then they get what they deserve
You aren’t alone mate.
There is a petition gone up.

I’m not a fan of what it proposes per se, but, for me, this article explains the issue accurately.
