And me, passed in 1980 on an X5 in the rain, nearly fell off but was out of sight of examiner so it didn't matter.
Just a note if you've never taken a pillion before or they haven't ridden pillion just go steady as it can really change the bikes handling especially if they sit up going round a corner!! not funny :(
Me too I passed mine when I was just 17 back in 1982 on my Yamaha XS250 Special on a rainy day in September. The examiner told you where to go and you just rode off into the distance, 20 mins later you threw away your L plates 8-)
