"I can fly without wings."
That's the first hurdle out of the way - one week off the weed.
Gosh my lungs feel better already, I feel like "I can fly without wings" (my bike ;D). I estimate that if I can abstain for one year I will save over £1000 in tax and duty alone. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
Gonna put all saved away for two years for a new bike - Shhhhhhhh! don't mention it to my wife. Lol ;D ;)
Re: "I can fly without wings."
Well done Ken..... keep it up. Your lungs will already be converting 30% more oxygen which is why you feel able to fly. It took me several attempts but its now over 6 years for me. Give yourself a treat now and again that you would not have bought otherwise to help keep the motivation up. Exercise is great, the endorphins that are released will help counteract the withdrawl symptoms.

Well done Ken, you will feel so much better for it! :)
Re: "I can fly without wings."
How ironic, I was thinking of selling my bike and spending the money on cigarettes.
Well done

Good man, just failed again for the third time of trying. [smiley=thumbdown.gif]
Re: "I can fly without wings."
Nice one Ken :)
I packed 'em up 20 years ago, never regretted it for a minute!! :)
Mind you, being a welder , I probably breathe in enough crap during the working day, without puffin' on fags as well !! ;D
Keep it up buddy! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
Re: "I can fly without wings."
Thanks all for your kind words of encouragement, it means alot.
Going to give it my best shot - I have found I'm a bit short tempered at the moment , but hopefully that will pass with time.
Re: "I can fly without wings."
Good luck Ken, long may you continue :)
